FALTMAL demonstriert im kleinen, überschaubaren Format modellhaft das Prinzip der künstlerischen Interaktion von Matthias Lehmann und Lisa Pahl- ke: hochrechteckige Tafeln, auf denen jeweils ein flaches, weißes, polygonales Papierrelief und eine schwarze Tusche- zeichnung wechselseitig aufeinander bezogen sind. Positionierung, Größe, Ausdehnung und Ausrichtung der plas- tischen und gezeichneten Partien sind sorgsam ponderiert. Mal opponieren sie, ohne sich zu berühren, mal stoßen sie aneinander, verlaufen parallel oder die Zeichnung überlagert die plastische Form, bewahrt dabei aber stets ihren medialen Eigensinn, wird nicht illustrativ eingesetzt. FALTMAL demonstrates the principle of artistic interaction between Matthias Lehmann and Lisa Pahlke in a small, manageable format: rectangular panels on each of which a flat, white, polygonal paper relief and a black ink drawing are mutually related. The positioning, size, extent and alignment of the plastic and drawn sections are carefully pondered. Sometimes they oppose each other without touching, sometimes they abut each other, run parallel or the drawing overlaps the sculptural form, but always retains its media stubbornness and is not used illustratively.
