FALTMAL demonstriert im kleinen, überschau- baren Format modellhaft das Prinzip der künstlerischen Interaktion von Matthias Lehmann und Lisa Pahlke: hochrechteckige Tafeln, auf denen jeweils ein flaches, weißes, polygonales Papierrelief und eine schwarze Tuschezeichnung wech- selseitig aufeinander bezogen sind. Positionierung, Größe, Ausdehnung und Ausrichtung der plastischen und gezeichneten Partien sind sorgsam ponderiert. Mal opponieren sie, ohne sich zu berühren, mal stoßen sie aneinander, verlaufen parallel oder die Zeichnung überlagert die plastische Form, bewahrt dabei aber stets ihren medialen Eigensinn, wird nicht illustrativ eingesetzt. |

In a small, manageable format, FALTMAL demonstrates in a model- like manner the principle of artistic interaction between Matthias Lehmann and Lisa Pahlke: highly rectangular panels, on each of which a flat, white, polygonal paper relief and a black ink drawing are alternately related to each other. The positioning, size, expansion and orientation of the sculptural and drawn sections are carefully determined. Sometimes they oppose each other without touching; sometimes they collide, run parallel, or the drawing overlaps the sculptural form. Yet they always retain their media-specific stubbornness, and they are not used illustratively.
