Vorraum alter Hörsaal Aus dem historischen Kachelboden erhebt sich ein Teil des umlaufenden Ornamentes. Es scheint sich zu verflüssigen und sein statisches Gefüge zu verlas- sen, um sich in einer geschwungen Spirale über den Boden zu kringeln. Das mit dem gleichen Muster versehene Band aus gebogenem Aluminiumblech stellt Bezüge zur historisch geprägten Architektur und bildhafte Zusammenhänge zu den gewundenen Formen von DNA-Strängen und anderen Proteinver- bindungen her. |

Anteroom of the old lecture hall Part of the surrounding ornament rises up from the historic tiled floor. It seems to liquefy and leave its static structure to curl in a sweeping spiral across the floor. The strip of bent aluminum sheet with the same pattern creates references to the historically influenced architecture and visual connections to the winding forms of DNA strands and other protein bonds.
