EX HORSTSPOT ist eine überarbeitete Version der Arbeit HORSPOT und basiert auf einer facettierten, aus Faltungen entwickelten Volumenstruktur. Die an Spitzen und Kanten hochglanzpolierten Oberflächen erinnern an Bronzeskulpturen im öffentlichen Raum, deren Partien sich durch häufige Berührung im Laufe der Zeit blank polieren. Diese bewusste Setzung verschiebt die Bedeutungsebene der Arbeit hin zu Fragen von Nutzung, Aneignung und kollektiver Interaktion und verknüpft die formale Präzision der Skulptur mit der Vorstellung von Dauer, Berührung und sozialer Präsenz. |

EX HORSTSPOT is a revised version of the work HORSPOT and is based on a faceted volume structure developed from folds. The highly polished surfaces at the tips and edges are reminiscent of bronze sculptures in public spaces, whose parts become polished over time due to frequent contact. This deliberate placement shifts the meaning of the work toward questions of use, appropriation, and collective interaction, linking the formal precision of the sculpture with the idea of permanence, touch, and social presence.
